Love Sparkles Shaker Card Occasions 2017

Shaker cards are really a fun way to share excitement for someones big day! Easy to make, and fun to receive! Thats a Win/Win in my book! Here is the card I made for our Occasions 2017 Catalog Shoe-box Swap:

I used:

Love Sparkles Stamp Set, with some of the Falling In Love Designer Series Paper; Calypso Coral and So Saffron card stock; Sprinkles Embellishments, Gold Sequin Trim, Very Vanilla 1/4' Satin Trim, Banners Framelits, and the Sparkle Textured Embossing Folder.

The shaker sprinkles needed a little more, so I added in some of the gold sequins, and punched a scrap of the Cupcakes& Carousels Designer Series Paper Stack using the  Confetti Stars Border Punch.

A trick I use to keep my Gold Sequin Trim from unraveling - because once that end is cut, you can have sequins slipping away here and there - is to add a Glue Dot and loose sequin to the end of your length of trim.

The center embossed panel is popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals and the Foam Adhesive Strips used in the shaker part. A piece of the Falling In Love paper is used behind the shaker panel, and I stamped the Love Sparkles stamp in Calypso Coral. The little Soft Sky tag is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink. 

Once you've got your layout and cutting dimensions set up, its not hard to whip up a dozen cards at a time. And its so satifying to see them all together!
